Theraputic Support

More than one thing can be true. People are complex, and healing rarely follows a straight line.

Integration is about bringing the different parts of our experience into relationship with one another rather than treating our thoughts, emotions, bodies, relationships or histories as separate problems to solve.

Sometimes the work is talking. Sometimes it’s somatic. We may explore relationships, patterns, parts of self, meaning, past experiences or what is happening in the body.

There is no single way we have to work.

Therapeutic support sessions are a space to explore, process, and make sense of what you're experiencing.

Integration means bringing different parts of our experience into relationship with one another: thoughts, emotions, the body, relationships, history and different parts of ourselves.

That might mean processing something painful, recognising a pattern, reconnecting with a part of yourself, finding words for something you haven't been able to name, or making sense of something you've experienced.

The aim isn't to erase what has happened, but to meet it differently and find ways of integrating it into your life.

And sometimes, simply whatever life is bringing and whatever you want to bring into the space.

A space to bring whatever feels important, difficult, confusing or unfinished. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on, or even have the words for it. We can begin with what is here and explore it together, with room for complexity, uncertainty and contradiction.

MY APPROACH

I meet you where you are. Every person is different; what resonates with one person may not with another, and what you need may change over time. I adapt the work to the person in front of me rather than expecting you to fit into a particular way of working.

My approach is person-centred, relational, trauma-informed and integrative, drawing on psychology, somatic and nervous-system understanding, and spirituality where it is meaningful to you. What we draw on depends on you and what feels useful.

The relationship itself is part of the work. I value honesty, curiosity and collaboration, and I don't see myself as the authority on what your experience means. We make sense of things together.

I don't believe everything difficult needs to be fixed or every experience needs to become a lesson. There is room for validation and challenge, complexity and contradiction. Being understood and being challenged aren't opposites.
